Ingredients

  • Cabbage : 1 thinly sliced, small
  • Carrots : 3 to 4 medium, finely grated.
  • Onion : 1 thinly sliced.
  • Peanuts or roasted groundnuts. : 1/2 cup.Raisins :1/2 cup.
  • Curd : 1/2cup
  • Mayonnaise : 1/2 cup
  • Milk : 1/4 th cup
  • Vinegar : 2 table spoons or you can replace with equal amount of lemon juice to add the sour element.
  • Sugar : To taste.
  • to tasteSalt :
  • Olive oil : 1 tablespoon.
  • Honey : 1 teaspoon (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak the raisins in lukewarm water for 10 minutes to soften them.
  2. Roast the ground nuts or peanuts, light brown and keep aside.
  3. Thinly shread the cabbage, carrots ( Any other veggies you might like to add.)
  4. Cut the onions nice and thin.
  5. In a mixing bowl add sliced cabbage, carrots and onions.
  6. In a separate bowl mix all the wet ingredients like mayonnaise, curd,milk, vinegar or lemon juice, salt and sugar(honey),olive oil . Stir and mix well.
  7. Now add all the veggies to this bowl,add the roasted nuts and soaked raisins.
  8. Mix all of the above and you have a healthy bowl of nature's goodness to begin your day.
