- —Turmeric : 1/4th teaspoon

Instructions
- In a big mixing bowl add 1 cup of water and one cup of oil, beat it together with the egg beater to get a white foamy mix.
- In the above mix add the spices, salt to taste and the gram flour as much the mix will be able to incorporate, mix together to form dough which is not very tight slightly thick then the dough mix we use to make onion fritters.
- In the cooking pot add the oil for cooking, add the dough to the chakli gripper ( it's a steel or brass tool used to make chakli) Add small or medium hole plate on the mouth to get a thin sev.
- Press this round, circular chakli gripper Plate directly above the cooking pot,to get a nice set circle of sev out of the oil like chakli, make 4 to 5 small circular rings, fry them from both sides till they become crispy. Remove them on the kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
- Similarly complete the same procedure till all the dough is over, once all the sev circles are removed on the kitchen towel, allow it to completely cool.
- Now you can either store this sev in an air- tight container in the form of rings OR you can crush it and store as normal Sev.
