Ingredients

  • Coconut (fresh or dried ) : 1 cup
  • Condensed milk : 1 cup ( Around 390 g)
  • Ghee or Butter : 1/4th cup.
  • Cardamom powder : 1/4th TSP ( teaspoon)
  • Saffron -threads ,dry fruit powder : Optional. (For Garnishing)

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, add ghee or butter and melt it on medium once done reduce the heat.
  2. Add the grated or desiccated coconut fresh or dry to the pan and saute it till golden brown (toast it around 5 to 7 minutes)
  3. Add the condensed milk to the pan, keep stirring it,till it acquires the desired thickness and consistency.
  4. Reduce the flame and let it cook for 10 minutes, add cardamom powder, dry fruits and mix well.
  5. Let it cool,add ghee or oil to your palms and shape the laddu in your desired size, Refrigerate it to make it to hold shape.
  6. You can store it easily for 3 to 4 days if you keep it in airtight container. Before serving refrigerate it,Garnish it with Safron or Almond .
