Ingredients
- —Cauliflower : 1 Cup
- —Cabbage : 1 Cup
- —Potatoes ( mashed ) : 1 Cup
- —Carrot : 1 Cup, (Grated)
- —Green peas : 1 cup (boiled and mashed)
- —Onion : 1 cup finely chopped.
- —Paneer : 1 cup (Grated or mashed) - optional.
- —Red chili powder : 1 tablespoon OR you can use mint chutney if you have at hand.
- —Turmeric :1/2 teaspoon.
- —Black pepper powder : 1/2 teaspoon.
- —Starch powder or All purpose flour : 5 table spoon ( for coating and binding)
Instructions
- In a big bowl mix all the above ingredients like cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, mashed potatoes, mashed Tofu or paneer if you have added, boiled and mashed green peas and finely chopped onions.
- (If you find the mix is too moist to your touch can add a slice or two of bread or add the flour to the mix)
- Next are the spices, check the salt and the heat you need(Add red chili powder,salt according to your taste..you can also use mint chutney if you already have it)
- Add the binding agent (starch powder or All purpose flour)
- Create a slurry paste of the binding agent to coat the patty(Add a little salt and black pepper powder to it, to give it additional flavor)
- Take a pan,heat it on medium flame, add oil,when the oil is heated to required heat and you see fumes coming,reduce the flame and add the patties to the pan.
- Shallow fry the patties from both the sides,till they are golden brown.
- Serve with your favorite sauce or chutney.
